ive lived here in pattaya for 7 years now and i think pattaya has the less rainfall is it true?? my wife gos back 2 uni every monday morning and gets back friday evening except for hols and thers loads in thai and she tells me it rains a lot more in BKK and i know about the rainfall up north ive driven up 2 chiang mai many times and issan and the islands r impossible in the rainy season what proof is there about anual rainfall in each area ??

You might try here > Weather Underground though I don't see Pattaya on the list. If you select a city you can then look at the weather history of it.

thanks for that, pattaya is on there but its spelt phatthaya, is there anual rainfall guide on there i couldnt c it ??

wow thats great thx its just what the doctor ordered

well bangkok has about 400 inches of rainfall per year more than pattaya thats more that a bucketful its mega wet and wild but wow trat/ko chang has 3500 inches more per year that surprises me as its not too far south of pattaya about 3 hours drive it seems to be the wettest place in thailand but not all provinces are covered yet

well bangkok has about 400 inches of rainfall per year more than pattaya thats more that a bucketful its mega wet and wild but wow trat/ko chang has 3500 inches more per year that surprises me as its not too far south of pattaya about 3 hours drive it seems to be the wettest place in thailand but not all provinces are covered yet

Might those be millimeters?

thanks for that what a muppet iam :D i know what 7 inches looks like but i bet it sounds better in millimeters :o
