Apologies in advance if anyone has an issue with this topic....

After being diagnosed with brain cancer in Chiang Mai's RAM hospital in late January, my wife has now passed away in our home in NoAm. I will be returning to CM in August and wish to bring her ashes along for a temple ceremony.

Anyone have any idea if Thai Customs/Immigration will have a problem with that?

To those of you who knew us, the end was peaceful.

I am sorry to hear about your loss. Hope you are allright. This is something what life also brings, have no other words to describe it, i am sorry.

I donot know anything about the official rules, but i wouldnot bother in letting anybody know about this. Just take the ashes with you and have the ceremony.

If you are too worried about something maybe going wrong, i would ask customs in your home country about the official rules, also ask them about reality !. I am sure they will understand what you mean.

Maybe the rules are not as bad as expected, not sure about this though.
