Rockfall In Krabi ?

Featured Replies

Just had a conversation with a staffer from a hotel in Krabi, who informed me there had been a rockfall in the Ao Nang area which killed three local people.

Apparently the local district office has warned not to build on or near the 'mountains' in Krabi area. I assume it was one of the limestone karsts that may have let go a portion of its rock ???

Thats all I know, but it supposedly happenned today !

I caught it on the Thai news yesterday at midday. I only caught the bit about it being in Krabi and it did look to be one of the Karsts had collapsed onto a building or two.

Sorry, that's all I know.
