hello all! don't know if this question will bore people but i want to make sure...

i have been traveling SE asia since november 2007. i purchased 2 - 2 month tourist visas for thailand from the thai embassy in canada before i left. i have used those visas along with a seperate 1 month single entry visa (january) in the past 6 months. currently i am using the 1 month extension visa that thailand allows for the 90 days max. stay.

my concern is this... my current visa (extended 1 month from my last 2 month visa) expires june 9th. i am flying on that day back to canada (business) and planning to return to thailand within 3-4 weeks. will i be able to, again, buy the same visas in canada? i am nervous that i will have to be away from thailand for 90 days and i have much left to see and do.

here's my visa overview

november 2007 - use 1st 2 month tourist visa, left thai dec.25, 2007 into laos

jan.29, 2008 - entered back into thai, 1 month visa on arrival (cambodia)

feb.26, 2008 - left thai into malaysia

mar.12, 2008 - entered back into thai, use 2nd 2 month tourist visa (bkk int'l)

may 8, 2008 - extended visa for 30 days to max. 90 days

june 9, 2008 - visa expires

any advice would help me huge!

thanks!

There is no requirement to be out of Thailand for 90 days or any other period. The only restriction is on visa exempt (30 day stamp) entries, using these you are limited to 90 days in a 6 month period but there is still no reason why you should not go and get a tourist visa and return immediately :o

You should have no problem getting a new Tourist Visa in Canada :D
