Low Loader?

We need a lowloader truck and driver to take a small vehicle from Pattaya to Phuket.

(Its one of those little advertising trucks you see around town and it would take about 3 days to drive it there under its own power!)

Any suggestions or contacts?

Many thanks.

Would it not be a better option to put it on a barge and sail it across

Probably not- to reach Phuket from Pattaya by sea would require sailing down the coast of Malaysia, past Singapore and up the Malacca strait.

Sure drive it down there and stop over all the way down. Make it a 7 day trip, like a family holiday (Use your car/pick-up as a back up and carry a tow rope).

Start from Pattaya

1st Stop Bangsaen Beach (no photo)

2nd The New Airport (Bangkok) and see planes taking off and landing.

3rd Cha-Am Beach, quite during the week-days.

4th Sam Roi Yod "Nantional Park" (Pure Magic that place)

5th Rajjaprabha Dam on the 401 road from Surat to Phuket.

6th Sarasin Bridge which takes you onto Phuket Island.

The way back to Patters :o

7th stop is up to you.

Hope this helps.

Have a great trip :D

P.S. approx 999.99 kms one way to "Sarasin Bridge" with a few de-tours

Edit// tow rope :D

Kan Win has the right idea!

However, if you don't have time to make the trip, why not hire a Thai driver to deliver it for you?

Fuel for the little truck, a wage for the driver and a bus ticket to bring him home has gotta be cheaper than the fuel for a big truck to carry the little truck, a wage for the big truck driver, and a profit margin for the truck company....?
