Tourist Visa In Seoul (3 Entries)

Featured Replies

I'm on the 1st of my 90 day visa-on-arrivals for this year, having finished a 3-entry TV issued in Seoul last August. I want to get a new 3-entry TV.

I previously used two 3-entry TV's, both issued in Penang. (That's a grand total of 3 3-entry Tourist Visas.)

I've gotten a new passport, so there is a transfer stamp (not the original visa, but something that takes it's place) in the new passport for the most recent TV issued in Seoul. That might mean the visa isn't obviously from Seoul (most of it is in Thai which I don't read), but I'm assuming the Thai gov't has some kind of records on hand at every embassy, so this probably won't fool anyone, right?

Anyway, since there seems to be nowhere in the vicinity that will issue even a 2-entry visa (much less 3), I was thinking of schlepping back to Korea where I have people I can stay with.

But that's a lot of time, energy money and whatnot, so can anyone tell me if they've been in the embassy in Seoul for a Tourist Visa recently? And since I've read of no one getting a 3-entry TV on this board in months, is it still technically possible?

One thing that's also different from the last time I was in Korea is I'm getting visas more or less back to back. Whereas last year I worked the summer in Seoul first.

Any thoughts?

You could probably get a double entry in Vientiane Laos.

If I could get a 3 entry tourist visa in Soul I would go...I would love to hear some details on this
