Can anyone explain what the score is with blind citizens in Thailand? I mean why are there so many of them with NO eyes at all? This is not something I've ever witnessed in the west. Are they removed when it becomes apparent that they are of no use to the individual? If that's the case, surely it's only adds to the social stigma that those with disabilities face in this country.
