Hotel Employee Dies in Single Vehicle Accident

Police and Sawang Boriboon rescue volunteers were called out to the scene of a fatal accident on Soi Siam Country Club on Tuesday afternoon. At the location they saw the lifeless body of a 30-year-old Thai male who had become parted from his motorbike due, according to witnesses, to excessive speed.

The man, who worked at a hotel in Pattaya, had been returning to his residence after spending some time with his girlfriend. He was allegedly speeding and lost control of his motorbike on a bend in the road. Since he was not wearing a helmet and most road surfaces tend to be stronger than the average skull his chances of surviving the unintended impact were significantly reduced.

According to witnesses there were no other vehicles, people, or livestock involved in causing the accident.
