I know it's good for your health but just fail to comprehend why it has been this popular among the Thais. Green tea is sold like hot cakes with a variety of brands to choose from and I reckon it's becoming too addicitve now.

Do you drink it on a regular basis ? Its popularity is due to health reasons or just a fashion ?

My Japanese friend was surprised to find out green tea sold in Thai is sweetened. He said it's a rip off and I couldn't agree more.

Sorry no but there are many that do look like that!!!! and even worse

I've been a fan of japanese green tea for years...the best is available at Foodland Soi 5 called Gen Mai Cha...loose green tea with toasted rice in a long foil pack. Just the aroma makes me feel healthy.
