I'm Thai girl, and I would like to visti my BF in Denmark from 23rd Dec to 3 rd Jan. I ll apply a tourist visa ( coz my bf think its easy than visit friend visa).

But i wanna know is it difficult or not for thia girl. For travel alone in Denmark.

I ll show the Embassy that I ll support myself for this trip.

Now I have hotel booking , Bank statement (฿200,000), Certificate of Employment, Photo 2" ----> Is it enough?

Furthermore, I would like to know when i visa ll be start, On the day i pick visa or, the day i depart form BKK.

Visa's (in general) usually have an issue date(day it was granted by the embassy) and an expiry date.You have the right to travel to that country up until that expiry date, after which the visa expires.

Upon arrival you will be issued with your permit stamp ie: 3 mths, 6 mths, whatever the countrys policy is.

I sure hope you will make it, but I'll have to warn you that it's not always easy, I'm a Dane married to a Thai, we didn't have any problems, but a lot of our friends in the Danish/Thai community is having problems, one friend had to move his address to Sweden  to be allowed to have his Thai wife here, but I hope you won't  have any of those problems.

Take a letter from your employer as well stating that you are returning to continue to work there.
