Dog Exercise Area In Thonglor

Featured Replies

Hi,

I walk my dog on the streets but I would like to find a leash free area for her to burn off some energy. Even if someone has a backyard where she could run around. If you have a dog that needs a companon to play??

Went to the army club area but it is not quite secure enough and i am always on the look out for street dogs....she must look very appetising...lots of them want to eat her!

Any suggestions would be welcome. The Ozono option is not really the go; I went to Saraburi on the week end and she got to run there.

She is a whippet puppy, non aggressive, non vocal.

Thanks

Afraid I can't help on this (the only leash free dog run area know of is at Pet Paradise which is nowehere near there) but I'd like to tack on the question of whether folks can recommend good spots in the downtown area (Sukhumvit/Ploenchit/Silom etc) to take dogs for a walk where they can answer calls of nature without outraging the citizenry?

My dog comes along on all car trips (I don't really have a choice...he's in the car in a flash and will chase after it if I leave without him) and while I can manage to find shaded parking spots and work into the schedule periodic walks I often have problems finding spots for the walks that don't result in his peeing in either placees where people walk, someone's car tires or lawns where guards object.

Tips?

Hi all,

On the weekend we drove to the Ministry of Public Health Park, a previous post was mentioning it as a dog friendly place to walk dogs. It is a very nice laid out park with ponds and undulating terrain. I recommend it. My whippet puppy got to run freely in certain areas. Fell in one of the ponds!! We all had a good time and met other dog owners. A few strays are around but did not seem as inclined to eat her!!

Should also mention the big dogshow at Impact Muangthontani this thursday to sunday. Everything for the pet owners there, good entertainment. Might see some of you there.
