Can anybody recommend a place to purchase one of these?,also a rough idea of price, i'm looking at 180-200GB.

Make sure you treat it with kid gloves! I had my life stored on a portable hard drive in between transferring the data off an old PC to a laptop ... I dropped it and lost everything!!! Despite having the portable HD looked at in Oz, Malaysia and London ... there is no repair possible and only advice was to send it to a specialised lab for data recovery at a cost I can't afford
