Has anyone sucessful experience at getting a credit card here without a large credit card only deposit? I bank with SCB, live here, have a work permit. At first they said I must have 500,000 in my account for 6 months, which I did, now they say I must have 25 million and it cannot be in what they laughingly describe as a high-interest account. I cannot understand it except it is a continuation of one rule for thai another for farang.
