Canadian In Bangkok Looking To Get A 60 Day Tourist Visa On Visa Run....

I've been in Thailand for nearly 6 months on 2x 2 month tourist visas + 1 month extension on each. I have to leave in a week and I'd like to know which country I can go to, to have another 2 month tourist visa issued.

Any help would be appreciated.

Vientiane is your best bet - you can probably obtain a two entry there.

"probably" is the appropriate word. No guarantees there though.

I do not recall any report of anyone being turned down for tourist visas there for months (very different than a year or so ago) and all that ask for two entry seem able to obtain - so I would say it is a very good probability. As far as I know there is no other nearby location that will routinely issue two entry tourist visas with passports full of entry stamps.
