I know this could go in the transfers/ exchange topic but its long and worn out, doesn't answer my question.

My wife is in UK on a tourist visa, if I give her some cash to send home would there be any trouble as she is not meant to gain income here? She say can send from bangkok bank london to her thai account (with the same bank). Should I deposit it for her? Any limits and/ or fees?

I cant see why not, she is your wife, no need for an explanation to the bank unless you are depositing hundreds of thousands of pounds!!
