mr burman is hung up on b/g

Not hung up on anything me, just saying widen your circles, your experiences widen as well.

not wishing to pull a m6 here. but all to many posters try to slam b/g,s for this and that. for me they are young kids, mostly , out of the village for the first time and like all kids that kick over the traces they go a bit crazy . in a nut shell there the same as young kids anywhere. now if they hit the bar scene at a more mature age they well be arriving with the sole intent to pull a falang. then there are those that come with the intent to make what money they can, any way they can. then there are the hardened girls . they,re the dangerous ones. sorting out who is who is down to how street wise you are. me ive only ever been to a few bars in 12 yrs. never paid a bar fine. have lived with a couple of bar girls . one was outragous one was such a darling, alas she couldn,t satisfy me, but she was one of the sweetest girls ive met in thailand. not ugly either.lol. such is life.

I lost track of who said what in this thread. But I stand by what I said, have found a large set of the population in BKK think they are better than other Thai's and are very concerned with proving this by showing off status via clothes cars or social appointments. BKK is a huge city and naturally there are many subcultures and if one is careful they can avoid this subset which I do. I also stand by what I said, which was merely repeating another posters point that all cities have these types worldwide. As far as Bar girl behavior well I think this is the same throughout Thailand, money #1, that's no surprise. My opinions are based on 5 years of traveling here and now living in Bangkok.

Thai’s in BKK are cosmopolitan as much as Thai’s can be. That’s why they are a bit different than other Thai’s.

Foreigners I believe are mostly dreamers, false starters or energy parasites. Most of the foreigners in BKK are one of these.
