Hello,

I repeatedly read many good advises on visa-question and would like ask one too.

Currently I am in Thailand on a non-immigrant ‘B’ visa which expires next week.

I do have work permit attached to that visa.

It’s not possible to extend the visa and w/p with the company.

I intend to work with another company which is still in the process of formation.

Not likely that it will all be ready for me to apply for the work permit on my current visa.

Therefore I assume that I have to leave and return on a (eg) visa on arrival to bridge the time until the new company is ready for me to apply for

a new ‘B’ visa.

My question is:

Does the 90 day (limit for visa on arrival) apply even though I was on another visa type?

If so, what would another option be for me to bridge the time?

Many thanks for your advise.

The 90 day rule (not more than 90 days in a 6 month period) only applies to visa exempt entries. It doesn't count to visas so you will have no problem.

Thank you for the info. That's good news.
