My mother is visiting next month (July) and I want to take her to an island. What is the best?? i've been to Samet and Chang, so I'd like to do the other side of the sea. I'd like a place that's more nature and attractions than partying. And is it better to do day trips to the surrounding island (phi phi, lanta, tao) or actually stay there. Thanks for your help!

You might want to check but I think that the rough seas and nasty rip tides can occur through July on the Andaman side. I know they are having them now because there was a post in the Phuket forum about it here Dangerous Surf Season, Warning
