I am presently holed up in a hotel in Seoul waiting for my flight back to Bangkok tommorrow and whilst hiding from the inclement weather I thought I would check out Bangkok Chat. very strange experience. Seems like that there are lots of folks lurking in the background offering strange invitations at random intervals which seldom get answered ie: horny gay guy in Phuket wants fun etc.

Does anyone on the TV forum use Bangkok Chat? If so perhaps I logged into the wrong one?

TV Chat and Bangkok Chat are not the same. Ours is OFCS (Old Farts, Alkies and Elsie's Shit Talking Chat Show). Bangkok Chat is that mad one you logged into.

I Love Bangkokchat, you meet so many charcters there. And I've also met many friends there also, among them very pretty Thai women...

I think I discovered the place after Stickman mentioned it in one of his early columns for meeting Hot Sexy Thai girls. And I did meet many nice Thai people there, the ones that know English well.

Which reminds me of a funny story..... Two years ago, I was PMed by this Thai lady, who I got to know in the chat room. We exchanged pictures, and turned out she was pretty good looking. So we agreed to meet up when I came to Bangkok , at MBK. I waited up in the food court, and then I was approched by two Thai people. one of them was the girl I was meeting. The woman was very pretty, dressed very well, and she was with a guy(!). They both spoke english very well. She introduced me to her male friend, who was also good looking. They both looked like Chinese people, not Thai, right out of a Thai Soap Opera. We then talked, and then ate at that Korean style resturant at MBK ( I forgot the name, but it's a famous chain in Thailand ) The girl talked mostly to me, while the guy just looked at me. They both seemed very friendly, but I was getting a really wierd vibe, I wasn't sure what was going on. Was the guy her male friend, there to make sure I was ok? Or was the guy really her boyfriend? Or, I shudder... Her Pimp?

The woman seemed very intelligent, she said she worked for some Thai export company, The guy didn't tell me what he did. They seemed to be even more interested in my plans for the day after I paid for lunch , they wanted to take me around Bangkok to fun places. I had other plans ( ehem.. ), but I told her that I would get in touch with her later......

She did call me later on, to meet up, usually at night, But I was usually busy at certain places at the time . When I did call her up, she was always busy also.

I never saw her again in person, even though I sometimes see her on BKK chat from time to time...

Any Thai women here can give me any insight on this situation?
