Low Budget Rooms

Featured Replies

I have a friend coming at the end of the month for a few days.He is looking for a basic room ,centrally located, around

300 Bahts,any ideas ?

All contriutions gratefully received. :o

I've seen rooms on Soi Chaiyapoon for between 150-200 baht per night. A friend once stayed at one of these rooms and I had the chance to take a look at the room :o But if he really isn't bothered about a fancy room.. then Soi Chaiyapoon is very cheap (On the right side of the soi coming from 3rd road)

You could also try asking at some apartment complex's for a daily rate. Cheaper than hotels.

There are some rooms off soi baukhow that advertise (in thai) rooms for 150-250, but i wouldn't recommend (although I've not stayed in them). There's a hairdresser's on the same road opposite Crazy Dave's(?) that does reasonable rooms for 400. Brand new, comfortable, tv, aircon, yadda, but not very big.

But that area is definitely the place to stay IMO - pretty central and good value. Walk up past Megabreak, then left, then right (I think).

Soi Chaiyapoon, opposite Canterbury Tales.

Just ask for Crazy Dave's, can't go wrong, skip breakfast though!

Diana Millenium on soi Buakhao 390 baht with full American breakfast including fresh coffee, hot water shower, large fridge, AC, tv and swimming pool access

siggies bar, next to soi 8 on 2nd road are reasonable for about 400 baht.Ask for mr p and he will look after you.

Heres another for you...............just off soi bourkhao, went past it today they have a board out saying rate at the moment is 300 baht a night.....

Valentines Guest House

do try soi sak kaow (?)

its just north or soi 10 off of pat 2

its close to the beach, a major plus

and i found free internet at more than one place (with beverage purchase)

this time of year there are many many options

I always send my friends to the Sawasdee - I think there are 4 Hotels around the Pattaya Central area, with Air, fridge ect - These very cheap rooms mentioned previously are ok, but you have got to be careful not to stand on the Cockeroaches.
