Hi, I am in the process of planning an internship with a dive shop in Thailand as part of my future plans to work in that industry. I will be taking the PADI Divemaster course and hopefully following on to Instructor level. To enable me to do this I will need to be in Thailand for 2 months initially, returning to UK for 3 months then back to Thailand for 1 more month. I know that the usual 30 day entry stamp will cover my final month but I was wondering what my options are for the 2 month stay. In common with many, cash is an issue so I'm looking for the most cost effective, hassle free solution.

Any advice would be most welcome.

A single entry tourist visa allows a 60 day stay and can be extended for another 30 days at extra 1,900 baht cost. As you will not have outgoing ticket within 30 days air travel without a visa could be problematic.
