Entering On A One Way Ticket

Featured Replies

I apologise for not searching thouroughly as the answer is probably already on here but i am in a hurry to find out as i want to book what seems a cheap flight asap.

I have a non imm b business visa and a work permit and i own a thai company. can i fly from london to bangkok on a one way ticket or must i prove I have a flight out of the country?

any help very much appreciated.

thanks

As long as you have the visa it should not be a problem.

I've never been asked to show a return ticket (ever). Even when I did a stint (9 consecutive months) of 30 day visa runs.

I was going to say that it was possibly because I marked the return flight on my TM47 card, but then I remembered that when I was doing those border runs, I never marked a return flight on them (didn't have a return flight at the time).

But as lopburi3 mentions, you have a visa, (and a work permit). Shouldn't be a problem. You obviously have an address in Thailand. If they ask, tell them your return ticket is sitting in a drawer in your home in (insert province/city/tambon/amphur/Moo/soi/house-apartment # here).

same same for me, been comming 4 times a year 5 to 6 years as Tourist, only once had a return ticket and once a Tourist Visa arranged in Australia for 2 months. Never been an Issue!

Incidently only once [last week] had my bags X rayed on entering TH, Cnt say the same for returning to Oz, :o

So this would also work if I would obtain a Tourist visa?

I will use Tourist visa as an backup as I'm waiting for papers from MOE for an ED visa.
