Travelling In Thailand With A Dog

Featured Replies

Hello,

I am considering bringing my dog with me for an extended stay in Thailand. Are dogs allowed on public transport (Trains, Buses, Ferries, etc.)

Thanks,

J

Hi, not on public transport. If the dog is not too big taxis will allow. I use a lot of song toew ( like a tuktuk but usually made from a small Suzuki van). They carry everything. Outdoor restaurants also tolerate medium sized quiet dogs under the tables. Mine is a common fixture here in Bangkok. Check on your reentry to your contry of origin!
