Thanks For The Help

Featured Replies

Thanks very much for the advice on visas given previously. I went to KL and easily got a non imm O multiple entry visa. My Thai wife did use her US passport to come back and just got a one month visa at entry. She will get a thai passport soon. After she gets a thai passport how does she reconcile the US passport in terms of the visa running out?

My plan is to extend my O visa to a year marriage visa. Is this done at the end of the 90 days or anytime? If I have the money in the bank but am currently not employed and not retired will this be a problem?

Thanks again for your help initially.

I would have her exit on the US passport and then return on the Thai passport. Easy and all paperwork is done as a normal thing.

You normally extend during the last 30 days of an entry.

If you have the money and can have it each year from external sources it will be assumed you are employed overseas.
