Can some one tell me if this pill is readily available from a doctor in Thailand? my girlfriend is in a situation at the moment and we need all info available.

There is a combination of pills that act the same as RU486. I don't know what they are but they are available here OTC.

Wasabi, I think you are confusing RU486 with the "morning after"pills. The latter are indeed readily availabkle over the counter, comon brabnd names include Postinor and Madonna. These should be taken within 48 hours of exposure (unprotected sex) although recent studies have shown siome benefit if taken bewteen 48 hoiurs - 2 weeks although less than if taken within the recommended 48 hours.

However for someone who is more than 2 weeks post exposure these pills will not do anything.
