A bit of advice from anyone out there regarding the latest Brendan Fraser movie, Journey to the Centre of the Earth 3D, does anyone know if it is actually 3D or is it the 2D version playing at Airport Plaza? My son wants to see it but I doubt it is anything special if it is a 2D copy.

Secondly, if the above is not 3D, he wants to see Hellboy, it carries a PG13 rating, does this mean with parental guidance children younger than 13 can see it, or does it mean that no one under 13 is admitted? Confused at some of the google results (e.g. wiki ratings for Thailand don't even cover PG 13.....)

Any info appreciated.

Cheers

don't know about airport, but at kad suan kaew vista the journey to the centre of the earth is 3D.

i went to see hellboy 2 the other day and there were certainly nippers below the age of thirteen in there. it has a few pretty scary / jumpy moments in it though so depending on how young or sensitive your youngster is. . .

I assume it's polarized 3D, not the old red and green sort. A whole bunch of Hollywood big shots are betting the farm that 3D is really going to happen in the next couple of years and although it can be very effective, almost all the attempts so far have let the story be suborned by the technique.

Is it worth seeing beyond just being a novelty?

I went to see Journey to the Centre..... last week and it was billed as 3D. Can't say that I noticed any difference though!

Here in Thailand they don't bother enforcing ratings, especially with Farangs, they just want your money LOL.
