Hi

I am an Australian working in Thailand with a non-immigrant visa and work permit and soon I want to take a long break from work and convert to a marriage visa based on my Thai wife's income of 40,000+ baht per month. My question is, how many months/years worth of tax receipts does my wife have to submit when I apply for the marriage visa?

Thanks

The answer seems to be 3 months.

I would suggest you give a call to immigration before, to reconfirm the paperwork required.

May depend on your local immigration officers.

When I tried to get an Extension of Permission to Stay (visa extension) on the basis of business (section 7.1) last year, Phuket Immigration insisted I provided my Por Ngor Dor 91 (for the previous year's personal income tax) showing a minimum of 600,000 THB income (that's 50,000 THB pcm).

So your immigration dept might want to see 480,000 THB income on your wife's personal income tax form for last year.

personal income tax for previous year with receipt

Seems clear that the requirement is last years tax receipt. Tax can easily be paid late without questions being asked from most reports.
