jbaldwin
I am on the management committee of a condo in Pattaya. Our Committee is currently having some difficulties with our management company in dealing with maintenance issues within a reasonable timescale. We are consistently told that they cannot identify a suitable contractor for work and that firms will not quote for the work we need done. At present we have a number of issues: - We have water leaks from the ridgeline of the roof. We need someone to inspect and replace and seal any broken tiles - In the swimming pool area there are areas where the sandwash is cracked or broken - We need to install parking bollards to prevent cars getting too close to enerence doors Can anyone suggest reliable contractors for any of these tasks. ripley
Word to the wise: If you haven't already, start a careful investigation and evaluation of your condo, its business office & books and hirings and firings of staff, etc. In fact, of everything the company has been handling. Our building has been through 3 companies & not a decent one among them. While you're at it, have you checked the brass fittings on your fire safety equipment? There have been a lot of thefts in condos of these parts which apparently bring a good price for the weight of the brass. Kind of thing people don't usually notice until it's too late. Contact POI at Golden Homes Pattaya on 0868268821, they have excellent contractors working directly for them. They will give you a quote after inspecting the job. I have used them a couple of times and the work was excellent and did not cost the earth. Good luck.
HowardJohnson
You have probably already heard of ESC in Pattaya. I have heard mixed reviews but in the main they seem to be ok. [email protected]
