alphason
Hi, My Non B expired June so I did my final run to get 15 months out of it, I am now admitted until 25th August. I need to leave Thailand to obtain a new visa but I would prefer to do it early September, do you think immigration (Phuket) would give an extension? On what grounds should I apply? Thanks - A long shot I feel.
lopburi3
Seven days is the most you would be able to obtain; without one year extension of stay type qualifications.
gusgorman
Am i not right in saying that with Non Imm B we get a weeks Grace period?
beechguy
No grace period I know of. When the permitted to stay date expires that's it, you would be overstaying beyond that without the extension.
lopburi3
In the old days you did get the 7 days without fanfare. But now you must apply for an extension of stay.

Remember that if you still have your work permit, it will expire unless you do something to extend your permission to work (which will expire on the 25th August) whilst you are on a seven day extension. The default grace period to provide new visa details, etc, once a WP renewal has been filed is 7 days. That is unless you can make a satisfactory deal by notifying Phuket Labour in writing of your predicament.
