How Do U Do Ur Tourist Visa?

Featured Replies

i have a double tourist visa from laos. i went thru a good compny, enjoy travel. they charge 9900 b. includes minibus travel, 2 breakfasts, overnight stay in local hotel (ok quality). and basically ur visa is hand walked thru by the company. very easy, takes about 3 days.

some pple go solo. how much do u end up spending? is it easy. anyone no of a better deal thru a company. im traveling alone, so a company trip is better cuz ill be with a group. but if i can save money, great. this company did not require a return air ticket to my home country. good, cuz i dont have one. thanks!

The Visa costs 2,000 Baht. A hotel less than 1,000 Baht. The bus , not a lot.

Why people need some one to hold there hands I do not understand.

But up to you.

Stacks of info on how to do it here

Solo is best. "Companies" such as "Jacks" cannot guarantee your visa anyway. Why not do it yourself -cheaper, and you have the chance to explain yourself personally if it comes to that.

Solo is the way to go, very easy to do, and much more fun.

Jack is not doing tours to Laos ... not yet, but will in August.

I went by Laotian Airlines from BKK to Vientiane .... traveled 15 minutes by hotel transfer and then did the application myself ...

Total cost in total around THB 13,000.

hey does anyone no what bus leaves from pattaya to the laos border, location of station and cost for trip up and back? last time when i went with a company, i saw a bus (there were millions of pple on it!) but could prove cost effective.

anyone no of a discount coupon for enjoy travel (located on soi 8 and also soi boukau). someone mentioned a 1000 baht coupon in a bankok magazine or paper. i could use it cuz the double tourist visa trip costs 9900 for americans.

someone mentiond "jacks" will be doin the loas run in august. i need to go sunday august 17. who and where is jacks?

Jack Golf, this is a visa run service based in Bangkok.

the link above seems to suggest they are still running this service, but elsewhere they say it's suspended, give them a call 02-251-1950

Or better yet, do it yourself.
