Yep, you can get internet through one2call.

You'll have to get your GPRS capable phone hooked up to your laptop/Pc, either through a USB data cable, or through bluetooth.

Make sure you have an Edge capable phone to get the best speed. Regular GPRS gives you roughly the same speed as dial-up.

On Edge, expect anywhere between 80 and 200 kbps, which is between double and 5 times faster then dial up.

With one2call, you'll pay 1 Baht/minute, or you have to subscribe to one of their packages. 50 hours for example costs 214 Baht.

Call 1175 for more info and to subscribe to a package suitable to your usage needs.

If I were you, I would try Dtac as well just to see which of the two providers is the best in your area. Some area's AIS (one2call) works brilliant and Dtac will not be good, while in another area it can be just the opposite!

Same with Dtac, no gprs package means 1 Baht/minute, if it turns out to be better then AIS you can subscribe to either 1 week unlimited for around 250 Baht, or 100 hours for 350 Baht. Cal 1678 for Dtac's call center.

With either provider, just make sure enough credit is on your phone before you subscribe!

You might look a little further than the first page of this section ... Internet is discussed a couple of times here ....

I live near Pratunam (mind the spelling) (near Asoke and Suk. Soi 3). I have TOT and am satisfied.
