Thanks very much. A bit more than I can get it for overseas, but what with all the postage, probably not much different. Will have a good hunt about.

Do you have any buying experience with "tohome"? How do their rates normally stack up?

In case anyone else may be interested, just seen the card advertised on the sandisk Thailand website for 1,500, which is a good price..Listing as out of stock though. Can't imagine its much cheaper anywhere else...

Hardware House list the SanDisk Micro SD Card SDHC 8 GB for 1635 baht. They have lots of shops so maybe still in stock somewhere.

Tohome seem overpriced whenever I've looked. I've only ever used the site as a guide as to what not to pay.

No joy at hardware house in panthip but picked one up at data-it there for 1490 so all good. Found one other place up on the 3rd floor that was charging 3850 for it! Same shop that's flogging the new i-phone for 50,000!

Saw one yesterday in Central World, I was looking for an 8 Mb standard SD card. It was in one of the (many) mobile phone shops on the tech/cameras/hi-fi floor of Central World in Chidlom - the Sony shop I think. There will be several micro SD cards available on this floor as there so many tech shops, so you can shop around.
