Non Imm B Renewal Outside The Uk

Featured Replies

Sorry if this has been asked already, i did a search but could not find the answer. Do I have to go back to the UK to renew my Non Imm B visa? I no longer have a work permit and my visa expires next week. I am still activly persuing employment and have a couple of firm prospects of jobs so a B visa is ideal. I will be doing my last visa run before expiry to ensure another 3 months. However i need to leave the country again in October so on re entry I presume I will be granted a tourist visa.

You can get a tourist visa in and embassy/consulate.

For Non-B in SEA you must either have applied for WP or have one.

There is no such function as "renewing" a visa for Thailand.

You either leave the country an apply for a "new" visa,

or, if you have a suitable job and work permit you can apply for an "extension" of the visa, inside Thailand.

Thanks for that. Does that mean I have to go back to the UK to apply for a new Non Imm B?

OK that was a useful link thank you. Looks like without a current work permit I am stuffed then. I will have to resort to a tourist visa and organise a trip back to Blighty soon to get a new visa.
