Non - ED Single Entry from Vientiane, Lao

Went to the Thai Consulate first thing Wed morning. We were not sure we would get the visa because our documents from the school were not up to the standard they ask for....we had a letter in English and in Thai (the letter in Thai seemed to please the person checking paperwork) from our Teacher asking to issue the visa. The letter also had his contact info. We are doing private tutoring at home. Printouts of the school website....that is it. He did ask a few questions in basic Thai - probably to see if we were really studying. We got single entry Non ED Visas.

How long is your Non-ED visa for?

Is single entry, which will give 90 day permission to stay, but can extend at Thai immigration with appropriate paperwork from school.
