Good Thai Furniture And Furnishings In Bangkok

Featured Replies

Hi All, looking at furnishing 4 house over next few weeks and trying to avoid the long drive up to Chiang Mai - does anyone know of any good thai furniture shops in bangkok which sell teak tables, chairs, wood carved wall hangings, Vases and rugs, cushions etc similar to those in Chiang Mai??? any help or information greatly appreciated :o

Chatachak market maybe?

There is an area up in Bang Su that has lots of woodworking shops. Most have furniture and do custom work also. I forget name right now of the main street and sois. Nancy Chandler's map has the area listed. There are 3-4 sois with many shops and factories.

seacon square, either 3rd or 4th floor has a wide range of furniture stores selling this type of furniture, if thats too far, try the mall bang kapi, 4th floor, however the selection there isnt as large as seacon.

as vaijean suggested bang su is a good area as well, i had some furnishings custom made there, wellpleased with the price and the finished items.
