Shiny New Hip

Hello all ye Chiang Rai peoples.

It's Lance of old from AUA....Just wanted to update anyone who cares on my situation. I'm back in the States where elections about the only thing talked about to the point where I want to shoot myself. On August 25th I will be receiving a shiny new hip. I will go under the knife to get a total hip replacement with a lot of extra stuff to fit into my displaced hip. I decided to go with the ceramic on polyethylene, rather then the more solid option of titanium. The reason being the nature of the metal on metal shelling out ions into the bloodstream and no long term studies of the effects of that. Maybe none, who know. The ceramic should last longer than colbalt on plastic. Anyway, for anyone who cares, I would like to be back in Thailand next year sometime, but also thinking about grad school in, of all other things, water resources. Apparently you are not lacking any water at the moment.

Don't listen to these nay-sayers.

You will need a big shiny Harley to transport you about while recouping from the surgery. A Road King would be nice.

Get out on the open road, smell the fresh air upon your face, and the scent of earth and life.

Nothing would be better for your recovery, IMHO.

Though you won't qualify for the next paralympics anymore!

Pity concerning the medals, but there are other sports that

don't need flourish of trumpets and give much satisfaction as well .
