I'm sorry if this has been addressed before - I can't seem to find it anywhere.

A few months ago I posted a thread asking about various visa options. I'm still slowly sorting these options out. However, a new twist has been added: I may be getting married soon.

(She's American, just as I am...)

Let's say I got a work visa: Can she piggyback on it? Or does she have to get her own?

What about if I end up coming to Thailand as a student? Can my wife piggyback on my student visa, or does she have to get her own?

Forgive my ignorance....

1. There is no piggyback on a visa - it would have to be a one year extension of stay.

2. You can read the provisions in the pinned "useful information" at top of forum and read police order 606/2006 as that sets out the various categories of extensions of stay and dependent piggyback rules.
