Thai Charities

I want to contribute to a Thai Charity but am a little skeptical about who to choose for reasons that i don't mind saying are down to trust of where the money ends up..

Can anyone recommend a commendable charity here in Thailand where i could deposit some of my hard earned $$ that won't end up in the Boss pocket but will really be of use to the charity ??

Any kind of charities will be considered from orphaned Children to orphaned Elephants..

Well there are MANY private charitable groups/individuals….. that helping directly to those needys, THAIS -helping - THAIS almost exclusively.

I can understand not many farangs have heard of them before, because most of these are keeping a low profile unless the newspapers happened to pickup the story. And there rarely see a single farang coming by.

One particular that I like is…..in BKK - the one that helps taking care and feeding the slum children from age 1-5 during the day while the parents……out working, or being sick at the hospital.

I’m sure you can stop by and donate directly or just buy food stuffs and supplies for them,….etcs
