Hi, I am from Pakistan. I have a valid New zealand visa and I just need to get my visa endorsed from New Zealand embassy in Thailand on a Pakistan-Bangkok-new zealand flight. New zealand embassy in Thailand says we may take 1 day max to endorse visa but it usually gets done within few hours.

My query is which type of Thai VISA do i need to file in my case - Visitor or Transit? and for how much duration as asked in a question in the visa application form. I will have to reach NZ embassy in Thailand to get my visa stamped.

Thanks for any help!

You say you have a valid visa but also say it needs to be endorsed so that would make it invalid until that happens; would it not?

Transit visa requires a valid onward visa so suspect you should obtain a tourist visa for your short stay to avoid any possible question as to the visa validity.

Without permanent residency in the country of visa application, a Pakistani cannot apply for any visa at all. The rules require that the visa is applied for at a Thai Mission where permanent residency is held. Further, there is no visa on arrival available on arrival in Thailand. ( even if an airline uplifted him. )

I mean the visa case has been approved for a year and NZ Embassy has also sent a fax to Thai embassy so they could hlep me in getting NZ visa endorsed at Thai office. I think you're right i need to get Thai visit visa first.
