Course Recommendations For Buddhism

Hello everyone

Hope someone can help me out. I am not a Buddhist, but I really want to understand more about Buddhism and meditation.

I live in Bangkok and am looking for a monastery outside of the city where I could learn what Buddhism is all about by experience.

Any recommendations? I work in Bangkok but should be able to schedule time off. The thing is I don't know if I can get a full month off or not, maybe more like 10 days or two weeks.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

It's good that you are willing to make the time to give it 10 days or so as that's the best way to for you to find out for yourself whether it works.

Here are two places in Surat Thani that I recommend for beginners and they do 9-10 day courses.
