Non-b No Work Permit

Featured Replies

Hey Folks,

I have a non-b visa but no work permit.

I need to leave the country and come back

to apply for a new non-b visa.

Will immigration let me leave the country with a valid

non-b visa? The non-b is set to expire September 10th

and I want to leave from Nong Khai to Lao that day.

I know this question might be redundant, but

Last time I tried to leave the country with a valid non-b

I wasn't allowed because my work permit was still valid and

I had to go to the immigration office in Bangkok to get my non-b

cancelled. Anyway, this non-b expires September 10th.

BTW I can apply for more than one non-b in a year correct?

Moved from Teaching to the special Visa part of ThaiVisa for best advice.

Are you sure you were not on a one year extension of stay before? Have never heard of anyone being prevented from leaving when on a 90 day visa entry.

If you are currently on a 90 day visa entry you should not have any problem leaving Thailand.

Lopburi you are correct last time I was on an extension of stay, this time it's just a non-b visa.

Then you will have no problem at all.

Please make sure that you have all the correct paperwork for a non immigrant B application. Vientianne is being very strict with non immigrant B visas at the moment. Make sure that you have the right paper work including the receipt for for WP3 work permit application at labour - you won't get a non B in SE Asia without the correct papers.

You can certainly apply for more than one non B visa in a year.
