Can I Get Another 30 Day Visa On Arrival?

Recommended Posts

I cam to Thailand in February on a tourist Visa and did a boarder run to stay for March. I then went back to England for April and May. I returned at the end of June and then after a 7 day extension did another Visa Run for August. I now need another visa for only 30 days. Can I simply cross the boarder or do I need to go to an embassy for a 60 day visa?

A bit short on dates. You are talking about 30 day entry stamps not Visas.

The rule using these stamps is :

A total of 90 days in a 6 month period.

Your first six monthperiod was from 1st February to 31st July.

Second sixmonthperiod started from your entry on 3rd August and will be up to 2nd of Februray next year.

You can do 2 more 30day visarun's.

This 90 day thing is not so strict now especially depending on where your passport is from, with a Kiwi passport I never have problems coming in and out well over the ninety days in 6 months, it is written in the visa info that it is ultimately up to the descretion of the imigration officer. Just go well dressed, by your self and dont go wreaking of booze and smile and be polite. AND TELL YOU YOU LIVE ANY WHERE BUT PATTAYA, they dont seem to like Pattaya farangs, dont blame them either, when Thai's say they dont likie farang they really mean the Pattaya style farang lol.
