Downloaded FF3 and kept having problems, could never get into my internet banking as it did not support the browser. Now i have downloaded Opera 9.5 and its ruuning great with no problems...

I just had a similar situation with a domain registrar and secure (https) pages. Looooong ongoing ticket and found that FF is, or may be, a significant part of the problem. Couldn't change nameservers in about 10 tries .. happend 2 times. Opera got it done. Packet loses don't help. :o

Over here in the UK (using WinXPsp2) have upgraded and can only say I'm very pleased with FF3.

The one thing I thing may cause slowdowns is if your add-ons/themes etc are not up to date. A lot of them will take time to become compatible with FF3
