Last Minute Visa Questions

Featured Replies

just recently I made up my mind that i want to travel to Thailand, and i want to leave as soon as possible. I would like to stay at least 60 days, and leave within a month, the sooner being the better. So with this time frame i can make a guess that formally applying for a visa by mail, me being in Hawaii and the closest embassy in LA, this option isn't available to me. I would deeply appreciate your help in telling me ways which i can obtain permission to travel to Thailand. For instance, is it possible to go to a nearby embassy in or around Thailand and apply for it in person? or is there an option of visa on arrival for US a citizen ( i wasn't able to find clear information on this), and with this VOA i could make runs in and out of the country? your input is highly valued, thank you for your help

sincerely,

Devin

Alright, so there is an embassy nearby. That is great news, i called them and things are going to work out. One note on their address, the woman told me that they changed locations. their new address is

866 Iwilei Rd

Iwilei Center Suite # 201

Honolulu, HI 96817

(808) 845-7332

thanks,

Devin

Might ask them to tell their Embassy in Washington to update the address as that is the source.
