Interesting first post - I agree if you really want something you have to make the effort not only to "fit in" but to make those in authority want to help you.

As for the UK Government - who is going to test them? Sorry..... slightly but I couldn't resist!

Sorry Guys if my very first posting was viewed as a rant, it wasn't intended as one, just my own observations. I'm also a moderator of another board on which we have very relaxed rules...however it has nothing to do with the discussion here. I do not want to offend nor upset. If I may I will keep those interested up to date as regards my application r.e PR. My first posting was meant in a positive way, perhaps it didn't quite come across that way, for which I apologize.
