Apply For Ed Visa In Singapore After Using Visa Exemption To Enter Thailand

Featured Replies

Dear All,

I have an European passport and i am currently in Thailand using a double entry tourist visa. ( the 2nd extension will expire by the end of this month)

Thank you to give me your feedback on the 2 following questions:

1) Is it possible to apply for an additional 15 days as i do still wait for necessary documents from my school to apply for ED visa in Singapore probably ?

2) If i use one time my 30 days visa exemption, can i still apply after that for an ED visa?

I hope i am being clear.

Thank you in advance for your feedback.

Cheers

On a toursist visa you can apply for a 30 day extension at an immmigration office for 1,900 baht.

If need be you can get a visa exempt entry. This doesn't have any effect on the ED-visa. The only rule is that you can only get a total of 90 days in a 6 month period on visa exempt entries. A visa doesn't count to that rule.
