Transform Auto Gear To Manual.

Take off Auto gear box and install manual gear box.

How much will this project will cost me,assumming we're talking about second hand parts and not new.

Seriously, more trouble than it's worth. If you must have a manual then sell it and buy one. Without thinking too hard here I guess the rear axle is geared differently for manual and auto etc. etc.

I'm talking about case of BROKEN auto gear box.

Anyway need to change the gear so .. what do you think/know?

about the ECU ,do you mean the engine-computer?

better check is the stut pattern on the bellhousing is the same otherwise you will be buying an other moter as well

Stud pattern and crankshaft almost certainly the same, to costly to manufacture different ones, but having said that far to much agro puting manual in auto otherway round easier you can throw away clutch pedal and linkages instead of trying to fit them, transmission tunnels probably different along with mats/carpets. Get your box repaired sell the truck and buy a manual then you have the real item not a dog with all the wrong parts/specs.

i did this years ago more trouble than its worth ,nothing fits and the drive shaft needs to be changed as well

im in the same boat, i have a 3.2gls mitsubishi triton 4m41, automatic trans, and would like to swap to a 5speed manual.....

anyone intrested in swapping their tiersum manual for my lovely auto ?
