Onshore/offshore Rate

Recommended Posts

i am planning to transfer a substantial amount to Thailand within the next few weeks and checked the rates with my offshore bank as well as Siam Commercial today. surprise! transferring THB from offshore is [in my case] now a better option than transferring foreign currency.

I've been watching this myself lately. The onshore rate has been tracking the offshore rate very erratically, against Stirling at least.

I've been thinking of moving out of Stirling into the Matabele Gumbo Bean but I've left it too late now. :o

The Bank of Zambonga is currently paying 8% on the Matabele Gumbo Bean hence I think that is a shrewd move on your part.
