That AP story is four days old and things have moved on since it was written.

What's becoming clear to me, having spent most of the last 24-hours talking to people around the world about Thailand (for a story I'm working on for the magazine my company publishes), is that recent events have largely had a negative impact on Thailand's image. How that damage is quantified is going to be seen over the coming days, week and months.

It's not all negative but I was quite surprised on just how many people are reacting to what's been happening.
