kabal1234
Suprnova is not "back in action"... this is merely a mirror that will slowly become die as the old torrents become unseeded. Suprnova is developing a next gen p2p called exeem... kinda a cross between BT and kazza... it's in a closed beta right now.

meadish_sweetball
What is up with the slot ratio rule - we have never used that before, and it would slow down your download speeds from me to no end. Please remove that option in the hub soft. Cheers, Meadish

triplegee
Have you put your current IP address into the settings of the client you are using? I also had a problem that I could not download from my laptop when it was sharing my dekstop PC's internet connection. I had to be on the desktop to be able to download - something to do with IP addresses I think.
astral
I can see Jonboy downloading Osama off my machine. He is getting about half of the 512 uplink bandwidth available. Why can't I get anything from other machines? I have several requests queued, but nothing happening. Plenty of downlaod bandwith available, most of the 1Mb/s!! Abandon
file lists is a common problem. First you should check your firewall. then check that you have entered your current IP in the ACTIVE slot in settings. If you still have problems you can change from Active to Passive mode. Passive should always work even behind a firewall and then you can enter and use the hub and get advice of someone in there. The other cause for file list and download problems is if you use a router. You will HAVE to forward ports for DC++ to use. AND also assign a permanent IP from your router to computer (in subnet mask options). Again ask in the hub and we can give you links to explain it. Its a pain in the arse I know, but once done it will be permanent. http://www.b.ali.btinternet.co.uk/DCPlusPl...ancedUsage.html http://www.dslreports.com/faq/6518 Anyway - use passive for the moment - you won't be able to get lists from other passive users though - passive users have a little brick wall undre their username Just ask about in the hub for advice..
